Amani Marie, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist & Co-Founder
Amani graduated from Teachers College, Columbia University where she obtained her Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Through this program she holds a Multicultural and Bilingual Certification. She is licensed in the states of NJ and NY. Amani holds her certificate of clinical competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) in addition to being certified by the N.J. Department of Education as a Speech-Language Specialist.
Amani brings over 10 years of experience to The Therapy Corner. She has specialized in Early Intervention and School Aged children. Amani has worked in school settings with various age groups (3-21). She works with a variety of populations including children with receptive and expressive language delays, Articulation Delays, Developmental Delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and AAC Devices.
Amani has experience in evaluating children with a variety of testing instruments. She is able to provide individualized plans and therapeutic services to each client.
Shafeeka Farsakh, MS, CCC-SLP

Shafeeka graduated with a Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Columbia University. Through this program she holds a Multicultural and Bilingual Certification. She is licensed in the state of NJ and NY and holds her Certification of Competence (CCC's) through the American Speech-Language-Hearing-Association (ASHA).

Shafeeka has specialized in Early Intervention and School Aged children and brings over 10 years of experience in this population to The Therapy Corner. She works with a variety of populations including children with overall language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Articulation Delays, Stuttering, AAC Devices, Oral Motor Disorders and Feeding Difficulties.

Shafeeka has worked both in a school setting and a private setting. She is well versed in evaluating children ages (2-18) with a variety of testing instruments and is able to provide individualized therapeutic approaches to each client as necessary. She is ABA certified, provides Professional Development for her peers, and continues to seek certifications in the areas of articulation and stuttering therapy.
